News of SIAC...
MYF Iban Malaysia. Thank God for the new blood of MYF is growing
among us. This time we had more company of MYF from varies Division – Kapit,
Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Bintangor, Sarikei, and MTS Students. We had opening
service speaker by the SIAC Youth Worker – Rev Asson Ulli; Theme Speaker:
Rev. Elizabeth Enjut and Rev. Ningkan Suring; and two sessions by Mdm. Lau
Lee Lam about the Children Sunday School Teachers’ Ministry. One event that
the youth really enjoy themselves at this camp is Praise and Worship, with
the accompany of their own live music band, many life were touched, and
looking forward for another camp.
A Dinner with President SIAC Rev. Steward Damat & Family in Sibu local
restaurant. A Team of 5 - (Rev. Dianna Khoo – Chairperson TRAC
Board of Missions ; Global Focus Asia’s Team led by Rev. Derrick Lau –
Pastor in Charge of M.C.Incarnation; Mr. Lawrence Ko; Mr. McDaniel Philip
and Mr. Tony Siaw. The purpose of their visit is to share their concern and
and understand the needs of SIAC, and seeking ways of possible partnership
in Mission with SIAC in the Local and Conference level.
About
Iban Methodist in Johore Baru. This Church started 6 six years ago. And
now is beginning to expand to about 100 worshipers at two places : one at
Sekudai & Megah Ria. The Mega Ria Iban Methodist Church is planning to buy a
shoplot RM200,000 and with the kindness of Wesley Methodist Johore Baharu
willing to give a soft loan of RM50,000, and their own saving RM6,000 they
are short of RM 150,000.
Please pray for this church of SIAC as there are more than 40,000 Ibans working and living in Johore Bahru. The congregation is a potential hub for Iban Ministry in West Malaysia.

This is a new ministry, we need prayer support as they are many of our
church members children are now studying in college, university and working
in KL.
